What is a White Card?
As of the 1st of July 2009 the OH&S Construction Safety Induction Blue Card has been replaced be the OH&S Construction Safety Induction White Card. The purpose of the change is to bring all Australian States and Territories together and have one nationally recognised construction safety induction card. The white card is legally required on all construction sites throughout Queensland and all other Australian States and Territories for all people wishing to enter the site. This course is for people who work or wish to work in the Qld construction industry. If you are not a resident of Queensland but are coming to Queensland to work, the final assessment must to be completed in Queensland.

- Preparation of the workplace and safe work practices
- Work place Health and Safety (WHS) regulations when working on a construction sites.
- Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Legislation
- Duty of Care requirements
- Construction Safety Plans
- OHS communication processes
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The construction safety induction white card (cpccohs1001a) is nationally recognised, so you are able to work in Queensland and any other Australian state or Territory.
Courses run for a period of four hours.
White Cards and statements of attainments are issued immediately following successful completion of the course.
