What is RSG?

It is mandatory for workers involved in Queensland's gaming industry to have a current RSG course certificate. The RSG training program is approved and developed under direction of the Queensland Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) and meets the Office's training requirements.

Topics covered in the unit include:

• Responsible and Problem Gambling
• The Effects of Problem Gambling
• Gambling in Queensland
• Provision of Information within Gambling Establishments
• Interaction with Customers and the Community
• Roles and Responsibilities of the Customer Liaison Officer (CLO)
• Exclusion Provisions
• The Physical Environment
• Financial Transactions

Courses run for a period of four hours.

Queensland Responsible Gambling Service (RSG) Certificates are issued immediately on completion of the course.
