What is the TAE?

The Training and Assessment TAE40110 is the qualification required by trainers and assessors to teach and assess in TAFE and private Registered Training Organisation (RTO).  

 The TAA40104 has been superseded by the TAE40110. This is a normal part of the ongoing development of Vocational Education and Training in Australia, each training package is continuously enhanced and continually improved.

• Design and develop learning programs
• Develop assessment tools
• Facilitate individual and group based learning
• Assess competence

This course can be delivered in three different delivery methods:

• Blended Delivery – This is an initial workshop of just three days where delivery of underpinning knowledge is provided with minimal assessment tasks conducted. This prepares you for completing the tasks at home or work.
• Intensive Delivery – Intensive delivery is where we guide you through the entirety of the course, and once the assessment tasks have been completed, you will achieve your qualification. Intensive delivery is compromised of pre face to face reading and work, then 5 days face to face training with up to 2 hours of homework each night.
• Full Delivery – Full delivery is where we guide you through the entirety of the course in 7 days, and once the assessment tasks have been successfully completed, you will achieve your qualification.
